Your Excellency President Tinubu, Opposition parties, independent candidates
240 million Nigerians are writing to you as a deeply concerned Nigerian parent and Nigerians. Our children have been kidnapped for six weeks now, and we are living in fear, pain, and uncertainty. Every day that passes without their rescue is another day of trauma for families across this nation in the 36 states 774 LGA

Respectfully Mr. President, Nigerians have watched your administration successfully facilitate the return of 136 inmates from Ethiopia through the prisoner transfer agreement. While we acknowledge the diplomatic effort involved, we cannot understand why the same urgency has not been applied to rescuing our kidnapped children for the past 6 weeks we are curious how do you Politicians sleep with your family in your luxury free rent homes while Nigerian children missing for weeks with no effort to bring them back

Our children have been taken since 1999 in various waves of kidnappings. boko haram, bandits, and criminal networks continue to terrorize communities. Families are grieving, and many have lost trust. If the government can rescue the families of ministers and bring home inmates from abroad, then surely the same energy must be used to bring home Nigerian children who were simply trying to get an education in country of birth

We are also concerned about the future of the 136 inmates being returned. Nigeria is already struggling with unemployment affecting over 240 million Nigerians. Without jobs, rehabilitation programs, or security reforms, how will these individuals be reintegrated? How will they avoid falling into the same cycles of crime that insecurity has created?

Mr. President, we demand you to focus on the root causes of insecurity:

Create jobs and economic opportunities for 240 million Nigerian youths & graduates

Better intelligence gathering

Sufficient surveillance infrastructure in the 36 states 774 LGA

Reform the police and abolish dss

We demand the installation of CCTV cameras and drones across all 36 states and the 774 local government areas. This is not a luxury—it is a necessity for a nation facing daily kidnappings, killings, and disappearances.

Mr. President, this is not about politics. This is about the lives of our children. We are demanding you to bring our children home. Show Nigerians that their lives matter as much as diplomatic achievements.
