After reading insights from some of the top stock market gurus, I've come to the conclusion that SpaceX may not be the wealth-generating opportunity many investors imagine it to be.

At a valuation of around $1.2 trillion, achieving another 10× return would be extremely difficult. SpaceX does not pay dividends, so investors can only realize gains by selling shares rather than receiving a stream of income from ownership.

It's also worth noting that several legendary investors and billionaires, including Warren Buffett, have not participated in SpaceX. Much of the company's earnings are reinvested into future development rather than distributed to shareholders.

Starlink remains the company's primary profit engine, while ventures such as Grok AI and X.com have yet to demonstrate profits on a scale that would significantly transform the investment case.

My fellows perhaps SpaceX is not the vehicle that will create the next generation of billionaires among us. It may be a remarkable company, but that does not automatically make it a remarkable investment at today's valuation.
