Religion and tribalism are the main reasons we are not progressing in Africa, especially Nigeria. It's high time we stopped deceiving ourselves about a so-called heaven or hell waiting for us in the afterlife. This illusion was brought to us by our colonizers. Our forefathers never believed in such things. What they believed in was reincarnation, ascending to join our ancestors in their realm, or the spirits of those who died tragically roaming the earth in search of vengeance.

The spirit world is vast; it is not just black and white like heaven and hell. There are different gods and deities who possess different realms or domains in the spirit world, and each of them has their own kind of power. If you need money, power, fame, love, odeshi, or whatever it is, there's a particular god or deity you should approach. One god or deity cannot give you everything. Even your so-called Jesus only came to give salvation; if you read and understand your Bible properly, John 10:10 explains that this was his mission on earth.

And lastly, there's a law that governs both the physical and the spiritual world, which says nothing comes for free. It's a give and take, like a transaction, just like going to the market to buy something, nothing is free. The spiritual realm takes blood and life as a transaction before giving you what you ask for. These gods and deities feed on pain, suffering, anger, and life, although some feed on animals and plants instead. Even in your Bible, if you read it carefully, you'll find many blood sacrifices made to gods and to God.

So let's stop deceiving ourselves with this religion of "just pray and have faith." I think the main reason they push the agenda that we should all be religious is that they want to reduce the rate of bloodshed driven by personal desires and to make humans easier to control, because humans who can get anything they desire without depending on the government, simply by contacting the right forces, cannot be controlled.

At least we can emulate China; they are not too religious but rather more grounded and tech-driven. We have all the natural resources the earth has given us, and we can thrive and live well without bloodshed.
