Your Excellency, Mr. President, Opposition parties, independent candidates 240 million Nigerians are writing out of deep concern for the ongoing insecurity affecting millions of Nigerians, including the recent kidnapping incident involving Mr. Dennis Izuchukwu Okechi of Umuawa Alaocha in Ohuhu, Umuahia North LGA, Abia State. His account of being threatened for speaking his native language while in captivity reflects the worsening state of safety across the country.

Our message is direct because the situation has become unbearable for ordinary 240 million Nigerians. Nigerians are living in fear of kidnappings, killings, and banditry, and many feel that the federal government, opposition parties, and independent political actors have not demonstrated the level of coordinated, urgent action required to address the root causes of these crises.

We demand a unified national security strategy that involves the federal government, the 36 state governments, and all 774 local government areas. Without genuine collaboration, the cycle of violence will continue.

Specifically, Nigerians are demanding now 6/14/2026

Deployment of modern surveillance tools, including drones and CCTV systems, across all states and LGAs.

Transparent, accountable security operations.

A shift from slogans and promises to measurable action.

240 million Nigerians expect leadership that can protect Nigerians. If any political actor—whether in government or opposition—is unwilling or unable to prioritize the safety of 240 million Nigerians, then 240 million Nigerians demand such leaders should step aside for those prepared to take decisive action now 6/14/2026

This message reflects the frustration and urgency felt across the country in the 36 states 774 LGA .240 million Nigerians want peace, security, and a government that works collaboratively at all levels to achieve it.
