Open Letter to the NDC Leadership and Members

Dear Leaders and Members of the NDC,

I write this letter as a concerned Nigerian who believes in justice, fairness, and the values that political parties should uphold in a democratic society.

I am deeply disappointed by what many Nigerians perceive as the unfair treatment of Aisha Yesufu. Regardless of political affiliations or differences in opinion, every individual who has contributed to the advancement of democracy, good governance, and civic engagement deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

Political parties thrive when they embrace diverse voices, constructive criticism, and the contributions of committed citizens. Actions that appear to sideline or unfairly target individuals who have sacrificed much for democratic ideals risk discouraging many Nigerians who desire a better nation.

I respectfully urge the NDC leadership to reflect on this matter and demonstrate a commitment to fairness, transparency, and inclusiveness. The strength of any political movement lies not only in winning elections but also in maintaining the trust and confidence of the people.

Nigeria needs leaders and institutions that can unite rather than divide, encourage participation rather than exclusion, and promote justice rather than perceived favoritism.

I hope the party will take the necessary steps to address concerns surrounding this issue and reaffirm its commitment to democratic principles.
