Flooded Bridge Leaves Gombe Community Cut Off.

More than 4,000 residents of Afghanistan Community in Gombe State face severe hardship each rainy season as floodwaters render their only bridge impassable.

Pregnant women are among the worst affected, missing antenatal care and emergency treatment, while children, traders and farmers remain isolated.

Residents are urging authorities to construct a permanent bridge to save lives and improve livelihoods.
