TECH FUNDING: MTN LAUNCHES ₦5 MILLION STARTUP PITCHATHON IN ABA! 🇳🇬🚀

A massive injection of cash is heading to the South-East tech ecosystem! MTN Nigeria has kicked off its youth cultural and lifestyle flagship event, “The Gathering,” at the Prime Event Centre in Aba.

The main highlight? A high-stakes Pitchathon designed to discover, vet, and reward early-stage tech innovators. The overall winning startup will walk away with ₦2.5 million in equity-free seed capital, with ₦1.5 million and ₦1 million going to the runners-up. This follows a highly successful Lagos edition where startups split ₦45 million in funding.
