🚨 OYO SECURITY ALERT: ABDUCTED STUDENTS & TEACHERS HELD IN OLD OYO PARK 🇳🇬💔

A grim and heartbreaking security update from the South-West. Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has officially confirmed that the pupils and teachers abducted from the Oriire Local Government Area are still actively being held hostage by bandits deep inside the Old Oyo National Park.

The Governor revealed that the dense, difficult terrain of the park, which stretches across an expansive 2,500 square kilometres, has created severe operational challenges for rescue personnel. However, multiple security forces—including the Amote Corps—are deploying every lawful measure to bring them home safely.
