šØ OPHK FRUSTRATES TĀ£RRā
R!ST ATTACKS, RESCUES CIVILIANS, DISRUPTS LOGISTICS NETWORKS šØ
The Joint Task Force (North East), Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), has recorded significant successes against Boko Haram and ISWAP t£rr0r!sts in operations conducted between 11 and 12 June 2026. These include the rescue of abducted civilians, arrest of collaborators, recovery of arms, and the decisive defeat of multiple terrorist attacks.
š RESCUE OPERATIONS
On 11 June 2026, troops of Sector 2, conducting clearance patrols around the Amuda general area, rescued three abducted children: Ali Usman (15), Umar Ibrahim Abubakar (15), and Fatima Abubakar (12). The children escaped from t£rr0r!st enclaves at SAHA and CHINENE in the Mandara Mountains following sustained military offensives. After profiling, they were safely reunited with community leaders in Ngoshe.
On 12 June 2026, troops of Sector 3 responded to a kidnapping attempt along the DamasakāGubio Main Supply Route, rescuing six civilians abandoned by fleeing terrorists after aggressive pursuit around the Kareto area.
š COUNTERāRECONNAISSANCE & ARRESTS
Troops of 68 Battalion at Mallam Fatori ambushed suspected ISWAP scouts, recovering an AKā47 rifle with a loaded magazine containing 31 rounds of ammunition.
Troops of Sector 3 at Check Point 61 intercepted eleven suspects travelling in two civilian vehicles under suspicious circumstances. Investigations linked them to attempts to recover vehicles belonging to known t£rr0r!st logistics collaborators.
Troops of Sector 2 at Mandaragirau arrested Malahi Liman Muhammad, a suspected t£rr0r!st logistics courier. Recovered items included herbicides, blankets, salt, food supplies, mobile phones, and other materials intended for terrorist support.
š FOILED ATTACK ā COP BRIDGE
In the early hours of 12 June 2026, heavily armed Boko Haram/ISWAP tĀ£rr0r!sts launched a coordinated threeāpronged attack on troops of Sector 1 at the COP Bridge location, using four gun trucks and several motorcycles from the Wurge, Manawaji, and Kinuba axes.
The attack was decisively repelled through gallant resistance, reinforced by timely artillery and mortar fire support. The t£rr0r!sts retreated in disorder.
š¦ RECOVERED FROM THE WITHDRAWAL ROUTE:
ā
Three Rocket Propelled Grenade launchers
ā
Seven High Explosive AntiāTank rounds
ā
Other unexploded ordnance
Ground traces, including dragged bloodstains and body marks, indicated significant enemy casualties.
š³š¬ One soldier sustained injuries from RPG fragments and is receiving medical attention.
Why this matters:
OPHKās sustained ground offensives, aggressive patrols, precision engagements, and intelligence exploitation continue to weaken tĀ£rr0r!st capabilities, disrupt logistics networks, and compel insurgents into desperate, unsuccessful attacks.
The Military High Command commends the courage, professionalism, and unwavering commitment of the troops.
OPHK remains firmly in control of the operational environment and resolute in its mission to achieve lasting peace, security, and stability across the NorthāEast.
NO SAFE HAVEN. NO SUCCESSFUL ATTACK. NO IMPUNITY.
