Your Excellencies President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and the Governors of the 36 States of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 240 million Nigerians are
writing to urgently draw your attention to the worsening cholera outbreak in Maiduguri, Borno State, where millions have died and millions have been hospitalized. This crisis is a painful reminder of the fragile state of public health systems across Nigeria’s 36 states and 774 Local Government Areas.

The conditions in Maiduguri and many other communities are deeply troubling. Nigerians are living without access to clean water, functional sanitation, or reliable healthcare. Meanwhile, political leaders continue to enjoy secure housing, uninterrupted utilities, and comprehensive protection. This contrast is fueling frustration and despair among 240 million Nigerians.

Build new, fully equipped hospitals across all states 36 and 774 LGAs.

Provide clean and safe water systems for every community in the 36 states 774 LGA

Clean and rehabilitate Maiduguri, Borno and other 36 states 774 LGA where sanitation has collapsed. This is a humble request sir no bills needed no lies no slogans we demand visible action 240 million Nigerians are suffering in hardship & poverty these should not be Nigeria is rich in oil, gas rare earth minerals where are the money sirs

Rebuild old and unsafe houses, schools, and public infrastructure.

Ensure that all 240 million Nigerians have access to dignified living conditions.

Bring back all children kidnapped since 1999 and address the root causes of insecurity, including the long-standing threat of boko haram, a violent extremist group responsible for severe harm and human rights abuses.

240 million Nigerians are not asking for luxury—only for the basic rights and services that every citizen deserves. This is not the time for slogans or promises. It is the time for action, transparency, and accountability.

We demand you to respond swiftly and decisively to protect Nigerian lives and restore dignity to 240 million Nigerians you swore an oath to serve and protect
