A downed American airman, a weapons system officer equivalent to a colonel in the Nigerian military, found himself in the middle of hostile fire and enemy territory during the stalled American-Iran war.

For the two days he was trapped in enemy territory, President Trump moved heaven and earth to ensure his rescue.

The US military went as far as building a temporary airstrip in the desert to ensure a smooth, seamless rescue operation.

Trump was restless all through it all and received briefings and updates every minute during the daring rescue operations.

He did not breathe a sigh of relief until the airman was rescued.

We saw in real-time the urgency and responsive kea from the United States leadership for just one person.

Here, a retired Major General who gave his youth and all to Nigeria's service was kidnapped by ragtag Fulani herdsmen in Katsina

Ahmed Bola Tinubu never bothered or show concern.

For him, it was just one of those unfortunate moments, and business as usual.

There was no sense of urgency to rescue the General or put an end to the insecurity crisis.

Tinubu was still sleeping soundly while Nigerians were held captive by criminals and terrorists.

And then then the General died in the hands of Terrorists.

Two countries, different priorities.

The message passed to the rank and file of the Nigerian military is that their lives do not matter and their service to the country amounts to nothing.

The same Tinubu who is obviously incompetent in running a country is warming up to run another election next year, and a group of educated people think it is okay for Ahmed Bola Tinubu to come back because they share the same ancestry and the same political affiliation.

We can’t continue living like this, and this government has to go.

That is just the honest truth.
