He also believes that several states have become not only solvent but financially stronger, enabling them to address many of the challenges facing their citizens. He recalled a time when pensioners were unpaid, workers' salaries were delayed, infrastructure projects were stalled, and local government councils struggled due to inadequate funding. According to him, because of the economic re-engineering introduced by the President, many of these challenges have now become a thing of the past.
