FIFA Orders Egypt to Modify World Cup Kit Ahead of Belgium Clash 🇪🇬🏆

Egypt have been instructed by FIFA to make changes to their World Cup jersey before their opening match against Belgium at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. 🇪🇬🇧🇪

According to FIFA’s kit regulations, the Pharaohs will not be permitted to wear their shirt with the seven stars currently displayed above the crest. The stars symbolize Egypt’s historic achievement of winning the Africa Cup of Nations a record seven times.

FIFA has also directed that the gold-coloured player names and numbers on the jersey be altered to comply with tournament guidelines.

As a result, Egypt will take to the pitch in a modified version of their kit when they begin their World Cup campaign against Belgium.
