We were honoured to be among distinguished Nigerians gathered at the Nigerian Air Force Conference Centre, Abuja, for the Nigerian People's Strategic Conference & Defence Exhibition 2026 #NPSC2026.

This is not just a conference. It is a national conversation that matters.

At a time when Nigeria's security landscape demands bold, innovative, and sustainable solutions, this gathering brings together strategic minds from the government, the armed forces, private sector, civil society, and development institutions to confront a singular question; How do we build a modern, resilient, and people-centred security ecosystem for Nigeria?

The answer, increasingly, lies at the intersection of policy and private enterprise.

For too long, national security architecture has been treated as the exclusive preserve of state actors. But the evolving nature of threats, from insurgency and banditry to cybercrime and economic sabotage, demands that we expand the tent. The integration of private sector capacity, technology, intelligence infrastructure, and human capital into our national security frameworks is no longer optional. It is a strategic imperative.

We are proud to stand among compatriots who understand that peace is not the absence of conflict alone, it is the presence of capable institutions, coordinated systems, and empowered communities.

As we deliberate, exhibit, and network at #NPSC2026, personally, I carry with me the conviction that a secure Nigeria is the foundation of every other aspiration, economic growth, democratic consolidation, and national unity.

To the organizers, facilitators, and fellow delegates; the work we do here echoes beyond this hall.

Nigeria deserves our best thinking. Let us give her exactly that.
