The morale within the armed forces is very low, and they appear unwilling to engage as before. Even when they do engage, something seems to be lacking, and this is not the Nigerian armed forces we used to know. The response came too late and lacked empathy, despite clear warning signs, and the leadership appeared aloof at a critical time.

Olumide Ogundahunsi: Yes, it will take ALL hands on deck. We the people have a huge part to play. The so called leadership are a minority, let us do our part in our little corners and stop waiting for absent leadership. As long as we continue to use poor leadership as the excuse, we are playing!
