Nigerians Keep Talking About Democracy, But What We Have Is A Government Of Impunity - Fapohunda

Many of us do not fully understand what democracy truly means. Democracy is meant to be government of the people, by the people, and for the people, yet many Nigerians see a system driven more by impunity than accountability. Our founding leaders negotiated a structure that allowed different groups to coexist and govern themselves while building a country, but building a country is not the same as building a nation.
