I read about the incident involving Gabrielle and Klaudiaglam, and for anyone who missed the story, it reportedly began after an altercation outside a nightclub in Soho, London. During the chaos, Gabrielle allegedly got into her car and drove into Klaudiaglam and others nearby. Klaudiaglam suffered critical injuries and later sadly passed away. Authorities have since said the original charges are expected to be upgraded following her death.
My first thought was simple: there goes another person who let anger take the steering wheel… literally.
Anger itself is not the enemy. We all get angry. Sometimes people cross lines, disrespect boundaries, or behave in ways that deserve to be called out. There is nothing wrong with speaking your mind, standing up for yourself, or letting people know when their behaviour is unacceptable. Silence is not always maturity. Sometimes maturity is saying, “No, that was not okay.”
But after you’ve said your piece, know when to exit the stage. Walk away from physical altercations. Walk away from needless drama. Walk away from situations where rage is asking to be the decision-maker. Because anger has terrible ideas and zero long-term planning.
In one hot moment, people can destroy years of hard work, reputation, relationships, freedom, and peace. A few seconds of madness can create consequences that last a lifetime.
Some people think walking away means weakness. But it doesn’t. Anyone can shout, throw hands, or cause chaos. Real strength is controlling yourself when every part of you wants to react. Real courage is refusing to become the version of yourself that anger is advertising.
By all means, say your mind. Defend your dignity. Set boundaries. But when the temperature rises too high, remove yourself. Go home. Drink water. Take a walk. Reply tomorrow. Let your common sense catch up with your emotions.
Sometimes the strongest move is not winning the fight… it is not attending it at all.
