Dembele Slams "Unfair" Scrutiny of France Captain Kylian Mbappe Ahead of World Cup

Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembele has fiercely defended his international teammate Kylian Mbappe, claiming that public and media criticism of the France captain has gone "too far."

Mbappe has faced intense scrutiny in both France and Spain following a trophy-less debut season with Real Madrid.

Speaking to Marca, Dembele labeled the backlash highly unfair, reminding critics that Mbappe is still a human being and a vital leader for Les Bleus as they prepare for their World Cup opener against Senegal on Tuesday.
