Reflection on Philippians 2:5–6 (NIV)

> “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage.”

This passage calls believers to imitate the humility of Jesus Christ. Although He possessed all the glory, power, and authority of God, He chose not to use His divine position for personal gain. Instead, He humbled Himself and came to serve humanity.

Jesus teaches us that true greatness is found in humility, service, and selflessness. In our relationships, we are called to put others before ourselves, avoid pride, and seek the good of others. A Christ-like mindset values love, sacrifice, and obedience to God's will above personal ambition.

Prayer Points

1. Heavenly Father, give me the mind of Christ in all my relationships.

2. Lord, help me to walk in humility and avoid every form of pride.

3. Teach me to serve others with love and sincerity, just as Jesus served.

4. Father, remove selfish ambition from my heart and fill me with compassion.

5. Help me to reflect the character of Christ in my words, actions, and decisions.

6. Lord, grant me grace to obey Your will even when it requires sacrifice.

7. Let my life be a testimony of Christ's love and humility to those around me.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the perfect example of Jesus Christ. Help me to develop His mindset and walk in humility, love, and obedience. May my life bring glory to You and be a blessing to others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
