Group Calls On Senate President, Godswill Akpabio To Tread Softly

A Soci cultural group, the Concerned Edo Citizens Forum (CECF), has condemned the maltreatment, attacks, harassment on Sen Adams' Oshiomhole as unnecessary, uncalled for and negative legislative representation.

The group in a statement said the unnecessary harassment of Senator Oshiomhole should stop and he should be allowed to do his legislative job.

The statement signed by the Convener of the group, Comrade Roy Oribhabor, said "We have watched with great shock the continued and unnecessary attacks on Sen. Adams Oshiomhole, by the president of Nigeria senate, senate leadership, and some influential personalities in Nigeria, is unacceptable to us.

We call on Senator Akpabio to focus more on policies that are people oriented, not selfish agenda to perpetually remain in power because power comes from God, not human manipulations.he stated

After critical evaluations, we are proud to submit that Adams Oshiomhole is a force in Nigeria that fought for the survival of Nigeria democracy that every politician is enjoying today.... continue to speak the truth despite the elementary shenanigans and gimmicks, Nigerians are indeed proud of Adams Oshiomhole.

Comrade Roy Oribhabor, further stated that, "We openly reject what we view as bully, intimidation, and political wickedness against our most distinguished and celebrated senator in modern history. His representation is second to none."

We are proud of the contributions of our most distinguished Senator, his presentations are superlative and superb and people oriented. Therefore, he deserves respect and accolades, not calculated attempts to undermine or humiliate him.

According to them, The NNPCL is a creation of the law that must be subjected to evaluation and transparency principles, and giving an account is not rocket science. Extending invitation for over nine times without response by a single man is worrisome, which must be a concern to the Nigeria senate not otherwise
