Today's Democracy Day, a day which commemorates the sacrifices and struggles of individuals, activists and CSOs that were at the barricades against military, who, having tasted the juice that comes with being in government were not willing to let go.

But from the dawn of this democracy in 1999 to date most of the biggest beneficiaries have been those who were either in bed with the military or simply went about their daily pursuits during that time of the struggles.
