Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria. 🇳🇬

As we celebrate democracy, our hearts remain heavy for the lives lost to violence, kidnappings, insecurity, and needless bloodshed across our nation.
Democracy is more than elections and public holidays; it is the promise of safety, justice, dignity, and equal opportunity for every citizen. Until every Nigerian can sleep without fear, travel without anxiety, and live without the threat of violence, the work of nation building remains unfinished.

Today, we honour those who sacrificed for our democracy and remember those whose voices have been silenced by insecurity. May we never stop demanding a Nigeria where freedom is matched by security, and where hope triumphs over fear.

Happy Democracy Day. May Nigeria become the nation its people deserve.
