DEMOCRACY DAY.
A day meant to celebrate freedom, prosperity, and the power of the people.
Yet millions of Nigerians are battling hunger, insecurity, and economic hardship.
The question is no longer whether democracy exists.
The question is:
Is democracy working for the people?
Because democracy is not measured by speeches and ceremonies.
It is measured by the quality of life of ordinary citizens.
As Nigeria marks another June 12,
many are still waiting for the dividends of democracy.
