🗣️ “I don’t think our loss was only about what happened on the field. What hurt just as much was the feeling that we didn’t have the backing of the rest of Africa. Growing up, I always saw African countries come together and support one another during major tournaments, regardless of national rivalries.

This time, however, it felt as though many people were pleased to see us lose rather than cheering us on. That was disappointing because, as representatives of Africa on the global stage, we expected a stronger sense of unity and solidarity from our fellow Africans.” What do you think folks?
