Your Excellency President Tinubu, 240 million Nigerians are
writing to you as a deeply concerned Nigerian who is struggling to understand what there is to celebrate on Democracy Day while our children remain kidnapped for over five weeks. Your upcoming address to the National Assembly will not bring them home, and it will not resolve the root causes of boko haram or the insecurity that has plagued this nation for decades.

Mr. President, how do we celebrate democracy when Nigerian children are missing? How do we celebrate when 240 million Nigerians face unemployment, hunger, darkness, and hardship? How do celebrate when basic necessities—light, food, safety—are still out of reach for 240 million Nigerians

We demand urgent action now 6/11/2026 not TV speeches/slogans/lies with all due respect sir

Bring back our kidnapped children, not just from this recent tragedy but from the many abductions since 1999.

Address the root causes of boko haram and insecurity, not with speeches but with real structural solutions visible progress

Provide free housing, education, and healthcare across all 36 states and 774 LGAs.

Stop borrowing loans and reduce the cost of governance.

Redirect salaries and allowances of senators, governors, and top officials toward rebuilding Nigeria if you are serious

Implement state police with mandatory body cameras.

Install CCTV cameras and drones across all 36 states and 774 LGAs to improve security.

Compensate Nigerians for decades of hardship with a monthly support of one million naira.

Mr. President, Nigerians are suffering. There is nothing to celebrate while millions live in poverty and fear. We need action, not slogans. We need solutions, not ceremonies.
