Your Excellency President Tinubu, Opposition parties, independent candidates 240 million Nigerians
Multiple independent news sources have confirmed that on Thursday, June 11, 2026, the House of Representatives passed the State Police Bill with 289 votes in favor. They also reported that the electronic voting system was down, requiring lawmakers to vote manually by a show of hands.
With this development, 240 million Nigerians are asking what comes next. Our nation is facing urgent security challenges, and 240 million Nigerians are growing increasingly frustrated with delays, photo ops, and speeches that do not translate into real action.
Respectfully state police alone will not solve the crisis. If the root causes of boko haram and other insecurity issues are not addressed, the new structure will be ineffective. Corruption must be confronted decisively, starting from the highest levels of leadership. Without this, state police forces risk becoming just as compromised as the systems we already have.
We demand that any new policing system include mandatory body cameras and that CCTV infrastructure be installed across all 36 states and the 774 local government areas. Transparency and accountability must be non-negotiable.
Most importantly, we demand you to prioritize the rescue of the millions of children kidnapped since 1999. Their families have waited far too long. Nigeria cannot move forward while its children remain in captivity.
We also demand for real-time election result transmission nationwide in the 36 states 774 LGA. The continued reliance on manual counting raises serious concerns about transparency. Nigerians deserve to know what happened to the funds allocated to INEC for real-time transmission. We demand the courts and the EFCC to recover any misused funds.
Furthermore, we remind you of long-standing promises: free electricity and free Wi-Fi/data across all 36 states and 774 LGAs. These commitments were made decades ago and remain unfulfilled.
Respectfully Nigeria is at a turning point. We demand decisive action, not delays. We demand transparency, not excuses. We demand leadership that prioritizes the safety, dignity, and future of every Nigerian child in the 36 states 774 LGA this is a humble request do the needful no country/leaders are perfect Nigeria can do better
