Your Excellencies President Tinubu, Opposition Leaders, and Independent Public Office Holders, 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern for the safety and well-being of the 240 million Nigerians whose voices continue to rise peacefully across all 36 states and 774 local government areas. Nigerian activists recently participated in an environmental awareness hike in Abuja on 5 June 2026, emphasizing the urgent need for stronger environmental protection, better policy implementation, and improved public awareness. Their message reflects the broader call for good governance, accountability, and meaningful action.

Respectfully no harm must befall any Nigerian peacefully demanding a better future. The world has watched Nigeria’s governments and institutions for decades, and the need for decisive, people-centered leadership has never been more urgent.

240 million Nigerians are demanding critical questions:

Why have kidnapped children remained missing for five weeks, while other high-profile rescues occur within days?

How do leaders sleep while 240 million Nigerian families remain in anguish?

Why are 416 Nigerian children and women recently dropped off by boko haram still without free schooling, housing, and healthcare?

Where is the funding allocated for CCTV cameras across the 36 states and 774 LGAs?

Why do security agencies lack body cameras, transparency, and accountability?

240 million Nigerians are demanding for concrete action, not additional bills that do not address root causes or create jobs. Nigerians are demanding:

Immediate rescue and safe return of all kidnapped children now

A full reform of the police, military, and air force, including mandatory body cameras.

Transparency regarding CCTV funding and immediate installation nationwide.

Abolishing or restructuring institutions that lack accountability.

Job creation for millions of Nigerian youths and graduates.

Investment in agriculture, sustainability, and economic empowerment.

Real progress on environmental protection, waste management, recycling, and sustainable living.

Nigerians remember the promises of free light, free Wi-Fi, and improved living conditions. Today, many still live in darkness, poverty, and insecurity. Peaceful protesters must never be harmed. Security forces must focus on ending the violence caused by boko haram and other groups that have terrorized Nigerians since 1999.

Nigeria can do better. Nigerians deserve better. The time to act is now 6/11/2026
