Your Excellencies and Distinguished Leaders, 240 million Nigerians
write to you with urgency, not as a supporter of any political party or public figure, but as a Nigerian deeply concerned about the suffering of 240 million Nigerians for decades. Recent verified reports confirm that VeryDarkMan (Martins Otse) led protests in Abuja on June 11, 2026. Whether one agrees with him or not, millions of Nigerians share the same cry our children must be brought home, and the root causes of insecurity must finally be addressed.

For decades, from 1999 to today, boko haram and other violent groups have kidnapped, killed, and terrorized Nigerian children. Yet successive governments, opposition parties, and independent candidates have failed to fix the root causes. Instead, we hear slogans, promises, and political distractions.

While 416 children and women were recently dropped off by boko haram and left outside without proper reunification, politicians used them for photo opportunities. Meanwhile, families of kidnapped victims continue to wait in agony. Nigerians see this, and the world sees it too.

We are not fans of influencers or celebrities. But today, VeryDarkMan and over 240 million Nigerians are demanding the same thing bring back our children and fix the country.

Instead of focusing on 2027 elections, Nigerians expect leaders to work together now. Respectfully Your Excellency Mr. Peter Obi is traveling abroad and speaking on xenophobia, yet the root causes of why Nigerians flee the country—lack of jobs, insecurity, and poverty—remain unaddressed. Court cases and defamation suits are distractions. You do not need to be president to help bring back kidnapped children or to work with governors across the 36 states and 774 LGAs.

We demand the following:

Immediate reunification of all rescued children and women with their families.

Immediate rescue of all kidnapped Nigerians, including those missing since 1999.

Investment in agriculture, jobs, and economic stability.

Free electricity, Wi-Fi/data, housing, education, and healthcare as promised for decades.

An end to excessive borrowing and misuse of public funds.

Suspension of political office salaries until Nigeria is fixed.

Release of innocent youths and graduates jailed across the 36 states and 774 LGAs.

Abolition of DSS abuses, mandatory police body cameras, and installation of CCTV nationwide—creating jobs for millions.

Respectfully to the Nigerian Police, Military, and Air Force no Nigerian should be harmed for peacefully demanding good governance. The world—over 195 countries—is watching.

Nigeria can do better. Mr. President, we demand you fix the root causes of boko haram and insecurity. If any leader is not ready to do the needful, then step aside for those who will. This is a humble request

We demand action, not slogans sirs
