Nigerians, I am watching with dismay the new trend with motorists who fix all kinds of lights; headlights( mostly very bright white lights) instead of the traditional "headlights" that Nigerians are used to. These lights are most times so bright it actually impairs the vision of opposite drivers!
I struggle with it so much I sometimes clear off completely for such vehicles to pass before continuing my journey.
I know that in the past the FRSC impounded such lights or made the vehicle owners remove them. Today, the FRSC are on the road lining their pockets and not seeing to the safety of our motorways.
Can our legislators take this up?
Can the upright among our police do something?
Are there sane FRSC officials who will do their job?
This culture started with politicians; now even cyclists are now doing their own!
Nigeria! Nigeria!! ; how have become so lawless and selfish?
