Some dreams don't end with a dramatic goodbye. They disappear quietly. They sit on shelves, buried beneath responsibilities, disappointments, and the belief that it's "too late." Like a garden left unattended, they don't die all at once—they slowly lose their color until we can barely remember why they mattered in the first place. But deep beneath the surface, the roots often remain. That's the beautiful thing about dreams: even after years of neglect, they can still respond to hope, effort, and attention. Just because a dream has been dormant doesn't mean it's gone.
Sometimes the life you thought you lost is simply waiting for you to start watering it again.
