🔥 THE WORD NO ONE WANTED TO LEARN 🔥
"Terrorism."
Say it out loud.
Five years ago, most Nigerians only knew this word from foreign news. Today? It rolls off our tongues like "jollof" or "fuel scarcity."
We've become fluent in a language nobody signed up to learn.
Walk through any market in Maiduguri. Sit in a Lagos BRT. Gather in a church in Owo or a mosque in Kano.
You'll hear it. You'll feel it.
Not in textbooks. In real life.
🇳🇬 THE UNCOMFORTABLE TRUTH:
We didn't just learn this word out of curiosity.
We learned it because:
❌ Our roads now have checkpoints, not traffic lights
❌ Our children know "bomb drill" before "fire drill"
❌ Our villages celebrate "no attack this month"
❌ Our movements are regulated by fear, not freedom
Violence didn't just visit Nigeria. It moved in. Renovated. Changed the locks.
And the worst part?
We've started calling it "normal."
