Your Excellencies President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor of Bauchi State, 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep concern about the continued loss of Nigerian lives due to preventable structural failures, including the recent tragedy in Bara Village, Kirfi LGA, Bauchi State, where a grandmother and her granddaughter were killed after a heavy rainstorm caused their mud home to collapse.

It is heartbreaking that in 2026, millions of Nigerians still live in mud houses that cannot withstand basic weather conditions. Meanwhile, our leaders live in secure, modern, taxpayer-funded residences. This contrast raises urgent questions about equity, safety, and the responsibilities of government toward its citizens.

We respectfully demand your offices to take immediate action on the following now 6/10/2026 no lies no slogans

Prioritize the construction of free, safe, modern housing across all 36 states and 774 LGAs.

Expand access to quality free hospitals and schools, ensuring every community has essential infrastructure.

Address the root causes of insecurity, including boko haram, through long-term social and economic solutions. No lies no slogans

Intensify efforts to locate and return all children kidnapped since 1999 to their families.

Implement policies that prevent tragedies like the Kirfi incident from happening again.

Nigerians deserve safety, dignity, and a government that protects Nigerian lives. The loss of lives due to avoidable structural collapse is unacceptable. We demand you to act swiftly and decisively to protect vulnerable communities and build a stronger, safer nation.

Thank you for your attention to these urgent matters.
