What sparked the drama?
Okonkwo claimed on Channels TV that Peter Obi and South-East NDC leaders demanded ₦10 million bribes from House of Reps aspirants, handpicked candidates from a hotel, and were involved in shady dealings. Obi’s legal team calls it malicious falsehood aimed at tarnishing his hard-earned reputation. One aspirant has already come out to debunk the claims.
