According to Reports, Iran’s World Cup ticket allocation was withdrawn just days before the tournament thereby leaving thousands of fans who had already booked, the prospect of missing Iran’s games.

Mind you, the Iran National Team is based at Tijuana, Mexico. So they would have to commute across the border on game days because they have to enter and leave America the same day. The team relocated their camp from Tucson, Arizona to the Estadio Caliente complex in Tijuana due to diplomatic and visa complications with the US.

Iran’s first game in Group G is against New Zealand in Los Angeles on June 15.
