Request for Transparency and Accountability Regarding Security Issues in Osun State And the 36 States in 774 LGA

Your Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Opposition parties, independent candidates, Leaders of the Nigerian Police Force 240 million Nigerians are writing as a concerned Nigerians who are deeply troubled by the ongoing security challenges in Osun State and the recent public allegations made by Governor Ademola Adeleke regarding a lack of cooperation from the Commissioner of Police.

According to multiple verified news reports, Governor Adeleke stated that the Commissioner of Police has not been cooperating with the state government and has allegedly engaged in partisan or unprofessional conduct. These are serious claims that affect public trust in our institutions.

Your Excellency, Nigerians at home and abroad deserve clarity. If there have been conversations, directives, or exchanges between the Governor and the Commissioner of Police regarding these security issues, we respectfully request that verifiable evidence — including any available recordings, briefings, or official communications — be made public on the global internet. Transparency is essential for restoring confidence in law enforcement and governance.
