Your Esteemed Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), 240 million Nigerians are writing to acknowledge the recent communiqué issued following the 109th Governing Board Meeting held on May 25, 2026, and released on June 9, 2026. The updates on infrastructure expansion, including the deployment of over 12,000 new network sites and improvements in fiber connectivity to more than 700 locations, are commendable steps toward strengthening Nigeria’s digital economy.

However, 240 million Nigerians youths and graduates, especially the youth and graduates, are deeply concerned about the slow pace of progress between the meeting date and the public communication. The nation is facing urgent economic and employment challenges, and delays in action or communication create frustration and uncertainty.

We respectfully request clarity on when large-scale employment initiatives will begin. Nigeria has over 240 million Nigerians, many of whom are young, educated, and eager to contribute meaningfully to national development. We strongly believe that recruitment processes should be simplified to allow walk-in opportunities using valid Nigerian IDs and passports, rather than prolonged online applications or interviews that often lead nowhere.

We are tired of waiting, tired of repeated slogans, and tired of photo opportunities without tangible progress. What we need now is action, transparency, and a clear timeline for when mass hiring and youth engagement will begin.

We demand the Commission to provide specific dates and concrete steps that will be taken to ensure Nigerian youths and graduates are meaningfully included in the nation’s digital transformation. Kindly upload information on the global internet
