Your Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 240 million Nigerians are writing to express deep frustration and concern over the continued pattern of unfulfilled promises and the worsening conditions faced by millions of Nigerians. The recent Itakpe–Warri train accident and the House of Representatives’ call for a probe only highlight a broader issue: Nigerians continue to suffer without meaningful action or accountability.

For decades, successive governments—past and present—have promised improved welfare, security, and infrastructure. Yet Nigerians still lack the most basic necessities. Compensation for Nigerians must go beyond words on paper. It must include real, tangible support: financial compensation, free housing, free education, and free healthcare across all 36 states and the 774 local government areas.

Respectfully if this administration is serious about change, then it must deliver these essentials without delay. Nigerians deserve free and reliable electricity, free internet access, functioning hospitals, and quality schools. These are not luxuries; they are the foundation of a stable and prosperous nation.

Our children remain in danger. Children kidnapped more than five weeks ago are still missing. Meanwhile, 416 children reportedly dropped off by boko haram remain without their families. Nigerian children must never be used as political photo opportunities. Their safety and reunification with their families must be a national priority.

If the government can mobilize resources to support the families of ministers and officials, then it must show the same urgency for ordinary Nigerians. We demand immediate action to bring back all kidnapped children, provide free healthcare, free education, and free housing, and address the root causes of insecurity, including boko haram’s continued operations.

The time for excuses has passed. Nigerians expect leadership that delivers results, not promises.
