May 16 — Armed men stormed two schools in Oriire LGA, Oyo State. 46 students abducted. Teacher Michael Oyedokun was killed in captivity.
May 25 — Gunmen attacked a prayer ground in Isin LGA, Kwara State. 3 worshippers killed. 15 abducted.
This is no longer a regional crisis. This is a national one.
