Just as glory fades, so do our deepest embarrassments, anxieties, and mistakes. Even the greatest triumphs, public honors, and social status are quickly forgotten by subsequent generations. Everything physical dissolves back into the universe, and every legacy is eventually swallowed by eternity. Strip away distractions, stop worrying about superficial legacy, and simply focus on acting with kindness and integrity right now.
