If you hold GPhC registration and you are applying for NHS Band 6 or Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist posts — and you are not getting interviews — the reason is almost always the same as it is for every other internationally trained AHP:

Your supporting statement is not evidencing the NHS clinical pharmacy framework.

NHS Band 6 and Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist person specifications are built around the RPS Faculty Advanced Pharmacy Framework — the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's professional development framework for clinical pharmacists — combined with NHS England's Clinical Pharmacist in Primary Care Networks competency framework and NICE medicines optimisation guidance.

If your supporting statement does not reference medicines reconciliation processes aligned to NHS NICE guidance NG5, clinical medication review using structured assessment frameworks, STOPP/START criteria for medicines optimisation in older patients, or your contribution to MDT medicines management — it will not score at Band 6 threshold regardless of your clinical experience.

The framework exists. Your experience maps onto it. The gap is the translation — and that is exactly what I provide.
