You settle down to enjoy your favorite program. You're really beginning to enjoy a particular segment... Then suddenly it happens. The screen goes blank. Oh dear.

In a mix of anger, confusion and frustration you reluctantly stand up. Before you get to the socket the TV flickers back to life.
You heave a sigh of relief. But not so fast yet; for midway through the booting process the TV goes blank again.

This time you're cursing and swearing at nothing in particular.
With the socket off you'd barely settled back on the settee when the power flashes again as if in mockery.

Really gets on my nerves when the public power distribution company goes so rogue this way. As though someone at the control room gets a kick from toggling the circuit breakers.
