Your Excellencies President Tinubu and Leaders of the Niger Delta Government, 240 million Nigerians
are writing to express deep concern about the long‑delayed East–West Road project, which has remained under construction for roughly 20 years across five administrations and is still not completed. This road is essential for safety, economic growth, and job creation for millions of Nigerians. Its continued delay raises urgent questions about funding, accountability, and oversight.

Nigerians deserve clarity on why this project remains unfinished, where the allocated funds have gone, and what concrete steps are being taken to ensure its completion. We expect the responsible institutions, including the courts and anti‑corruption agencies, to recover any mismanaged funds and ensure that those entrusted with public resources are held accountable.

Beyond infrastructure, we are demanding immediate action on the ongoing security and humanitarian crises. Many Nigerian children kidnapped since 1999 have still not been returned home. Recently rescued children remained without access to school, housing, healthcare, or long‑term support. These children need free education, free healthcare, and safe housing across all 36 states and 774 local government areas now 6/8/2026

Nigerians continue to call for reliable electricity, affordable data, and meaningful investment in agriculture and food production. These are not luxuries; they are essential for national stability and economic independence.

Respectfully we also urge transparency and responsibility in public spending. At a time when 240 million Nigerians struggle, resources should be directed toward essential services such as schools, hospitals, and housing, not luxury items. Public office must reflect service, not privilege.
