FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT IN 2027?

Of the 15 or so political parties that have produced presidential candidates only the Young People's Party, YPP, has come up with a woman, Mrs Anita Zugwai-Chukwu.

So come 2027 if Nigerian women unite and are determined they can make history by producing the 1st ever female president of Nigeria; and this they can do so effortlessly.

1. They have the numbers. Of the 93 million INEC-registered voters at least half are females.
2. Averagely elections in Nigeria witness more female turnout than males.
3. Anita is a perfect handshake across the North-South divide by marriage.
4. She's also a nice blend of unity between the minorities and one of the dominant 3 ethnic groups (she's Bajju from S/ Kaduna but married to Igbo).
5. She's well read, haven schooled in Nigeria, the US and China.
6. And importantly too she bridges the civilian-military dichotomy (she's wholly civilian but her husband is a retired very senior military officer).

Is Nigeria's relatively young democracy about to make history producing its first female president while the grandfather of democracy, the US, hasn't? (The closest the US came to breaking the jinx was when Senator Hillary Clinton beat president Trump by popular votes but lost out by the American's peculiar electoral college votes in 2016 presidential contest).

Our mothers, wives, sisters and even children hold the aces.
