The Lagos State chapter of the Accord Party has officially presented its candidates for the 2027 general elections, unveiling its governorship candidate, three senatorial contenders, and other legislative aspirants while reaffirming its endorsement of Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim as the party’s presidential flagbearer. At the ceremony in Lagos, candidates received Certificates of Return, formally confirming their emergence and signaling the start of the party’s campaign activities. Lagos State Chairman Dele Oladeji, who is also contesting the Lagos West Senatorial seat, described the event as a major step in offering voters a credible alternative ahead of the elections. He said the party’s agenda is rooted in social justice, equity, security, and people-focused governance, arguing that many residents are eager for a new political direction.
