🔥 Can we fight this insecurity destroying us as a nation? YES.
But we are our own worst enemy sabotaging ourselves and gambling with the future of this country.
Think about it:
El-Rufai was arrested for wiretapping the NSA's conversation.
But our security chiefs can't wiretap terrorists? 🤔
If I insult the President or any top official today, DSS will track me down to my hole.
So why haven't they tracked these terrorists and bandits to theirs?
Simple: Our security has been MERCHANDISED.
Our leaders move with lightning speed against anyone who challenges their political narrative. But when villages are massacred and students are kidnapped from their schools in broad daylight? Silence. Impunity. Business as usual.
This isn't about capacity. Our intelligence agencies have the tools.
The question is: Why do they consistently FAIL to use them?
Every day they don't, our communities grow more vulnerable and our trust in the government's most basic duty dies a little more.
Protecting citizens is not optional. It's the FIRST job of any state.
