Datti reveals what could have been and what it cost Atiku.
If Atiku Abubakar had thrown his weight behind the Labour Party's 2023 ticket, Datti Baba-Ahmed says he would have personally persuaded Peter Obi to stand aside for him in 2027.
Instead, Atiku chased his own PDP presidential bid and in doing so, Datti argues, he burned his best shot at becoming the opposition's consensus candidate.
Now, as a new coalition takes shape without him, Datti has a blunt message for those at the table:
"They don't have a Buhari in this coalition."
