It Is Only Those Who Have Planted the Seed That Expect to Harvest
A farmer once lived in a village where everyone desired a bountiful harvest. As the planting season arrived, most farmers worked hard, preparing their land and sowing seeds. One man, however, spent his days wishing for a good harvest but never planted anything.
Months later, the crops began to grow. The farmers who had planted seeds watered and cared for them, and soon their fields turned green and fruitful. The man who had done nothing watched with envy as others prepared to reap their harvest.
When harvest time came, the hardworking farmers gathered baskets full of grain, while the man who had not planted a single seed had nothing to reap. He complained about his misfortune, but an elderly farmer told him, “The harvest always follows the seed. If you expect to reap, you must first sow.”
From that day forward, the man learned that success, blessings, and achievements do not come from wishes alone. They come from the seeds of hard work, kindness, faith, and perseverance that we plant every day.
Moral Lesson:
Only those who sow good seeds can expect a good harvest. Whatever you desire to receive in life, be willing to invest effort, time, and commitment into it first. As the saying goes, “You reap what you sow.” 🌱🌾
