Open Letter to Nigerian Politicians and Fellow Citizens
Dear Nigerian Politicians and Fellow Nigerians,
The masses have finally woken up.
The days when the voices of ordinary Nigerians were ignored are gradually coming to an end. At the next elections, Nigerians are ready to guide and protect every single vote. Citizens are tired of suffering in silence while a few continue to enrich themselves at the expense of millions.
Enough is enough.
The hunger in the land is unbearable. Families go to bed daily without food in their stomachs. Kidnapping, insecurity, killings, unemployment, and hopelessness have become part of everyday life. Yet Nigeria remains one of the most blessed nations on earth, richly endowed with oil, gas, minerals, fertile land, and talented people.
Why then should Nigerians continue to suffer?
There are countries with little or no natural resources that still provide good roads, stable electricity, quality healthcare, security, and dignity for their citizens and even foreigners. Nigeria has more than enough wealth to take care of its people if only we have accountable and responsible leadership.
It is a shame that in the 21st century, Nigeria still struggles to generate even 10,000 megawatts of electricity for over 200 million people. This is unacceptable for a nation blessed with so much potential.
To Nigerian politicians: the people are watching. Nigerians are demanding accountable leaders in every key government position. Leadership must become a call to serve, not an opportunity to loot public funds.
To fellow Nigerians: this is not the time for tribalism, religion, or sentiments. Our future and the future of our children are at stake. We must vote with our conscience and choose leaders based on competence, integrity, vision, and capacity.
Please get your PVC and come out to vote.
That is the only way the bad eggs cannot rig the elections. Democracy only works when the people participate actively and defend their votes peacefully and lawfully.
Nigeria belongs to all of us, and together we can build a nation where justice, peace, electricity, jobs, security, and prosperity become realities for every citizen.
The power belongs to the people.
Vote your conscience. Vote wisely. Vote for Nigeria.
