Your Excellency President Tinubu, 240 million Nigerians are writing to express urgent concerns shared by many Nigerians regarding the Kano–Maradi railway project, national employment, and the safety of our children.

First, it is important to acknowledge the factual timeline of the Kano–Maradi railway. The project was approved in September 2020 under President Muhammadu Buhari, and construction officially began in February 2021. 240 million Nigerians are asking for clarity and transparency so that the public record reflects the truth about when and how this project started.

Second, millions of Nigerian youths and graduates continue to face unemployment and lack of opportunity. We are calling for large-scale, practical training and immediate hiring of Nigerian citizens. The nation needs a direct, accessible system that relies only on valid Nigerian identification and a valid passport, without complicated online applications or interviews that exclude many qualified people. We urge your administration to prioritize the training and employment of 240 million Nigerian youths and graduates as a matter of national urgency.

Third, insecurity continues to affect families across the country. boko haram and other violent groups have taken countless lives and displaced communities. We ask that your administration address the root causes of these killings so that investors can return and Nigeria can grow in peace.

Finally, Nigerians are deeply concerned about the safety of our missing children. The recent rescue of the Minister of Power’s sister by the Nigerian Police shows that our security agencies have the capability to act decisively. We ask that the same urgency and commitment be applied to bringing back all missing Nigerian children. Their families deserve answers, and the nation deserves justice.

We urge your administration to act swiftly, transparently, and decisively on these matters. The lives and futures of millions of Nigerians depend on it.
