Nobody is saying people should not import, no country operates without imports. However, there should be a clear and flexible policy that prioritizes local production. Instead of relying on 70% imports and 30% local manufacturing, the goal should be to shift toward 70% local production and 30% imports. These outcomes are not achieved through rhetoric alone; once targets are set, they must be followed through with consistent action and long-term commitment.
